NATURAL STONES
What is a natural stone?
A natural stone is a gem taken directly from the earth, with no chemical treatment or artificial synthesis. Each stone is unique: its color, inclusions and nuances are shaped by millions of years of natural formation. This is exactly what makes every IVARENE piece singular and precious.
Why do colors vary from one piece to another?
Because each stone is a unique fragment of nature. The nuances, veins and inclusions differ from one stone to another, even within the same mineral species. Your IVARENE piece is therefore truly one of a kind, like no other.
How do I choose my stone?
Each stone carries its own energy and virtues. You can let your intuition guide you: the stone that draws you in is often the one you need. You can also choose according to your intentions: serenity, self-love, protection, mental clarity. You will find the virtues of each stone directly on every product page.
Are IVARENE stones treated?
No. We select only untreated natural stones, chosen for their quality, brilliance and authenticity. Each stone is carefully sourced before being assembled by hand in our ateliers in France.
How do I care for my natural stones?
Natural stones are sensitive to humidity, chemicals and prolonged direct light. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, in the sea or while playing sport. Store it away from light in its case. To clean it, simply use a soft, dry cloth.
SIZES & MEASUREMENTS
How do I measure my wrist to choose my bracelet size?
Measure your wrist where you usually wear a bracelet, using a tape measure or a thin piece of string. Add 0.5 cm for a snug fit, 1 cm for a looser fit.
Are several sizes available?
For bracelets, 4 sizes are available: XS, S, M, L, XL depending on the model.
For necklaces, the standard size is 44 cm. Some models come in shorter or longer lengths; the size is specified on each product page. Our extensions add an extra 5 cm.
For rings, two sizes are available: Small (48 to 52) and Medium (53 to 55).
CRAFTSMANSHIP
How are IVARENE pieces made?
Each piece is handmade in our Paris atelier, with the greatest respect for the jewelry tradition. We select precious and semi-precious stones, knotted onto a silky nylon cord with three knots between each stone, which guarantee great strength.
What is the secret of IVARENE stones?
Our precious and semi-precious stones are sourced mainly in India. Variations in color, size and transparency, as well as inclusions and marks, are all small imperfections that make our pieces authentic and naturally beautiful.
How can I recognize an authentic IVARENE piece?
A small piece engraved with the IVARENE hallmark is added to the clasp. A certificate of authenticity is also provided with each piece.

CARE TIPS
How do I take care of my jewelry?
Natural stones are sensitive to humidity, chemicals and prolonged direct light. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, in the sea or while playing sport. Store it away from light in its pouch. To clean it, simply use a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid chemicals: perfumes, creams, chlorine. Remove your jewelry before swimming.

What is French wire (cannetille) and why can it oxidize?
French wire (cannetille) is a delicate metal thread, flattened and coiled into a spiral, widely used in jewelry making and embroidery. At IVARENE we use a fine gold-colored French wire, made of 98% copper, 1% silver and 1% gold, protected by a clear varnish, which sits as a protection between the nylon cord and the clasp.
As a material made mostly of copper, it can, over time and depending on storage conditions, show signs of oxidation. This natural reaction is due to exposure to air and humidity. To preserve the shine of your jewelry, we recommend keeping it in a dry place, away from light.
Is the cord strong?
The strength of our nylon cord: heritage and innovation for unmatched quality.
For centuries, fine pearls were traditionally strung on a silk cord, prized for its suppleness and elegance. This age-old craft shaped the history of jewelry, where silk gave the most precious pieces a refined finish. Over time, the jewelry industry evolved and adapted to technical advances to meet modern durability standards.
This is how the nylon cord was born, a material that combines the delicate look of silk with far superior strength. Used in our necklaces and bracelets, this nylon cord keeps the elegance and finesse of the traditional setting while offering outstanding robustness. Able to withstand wear, pulling and everyday movement, it is the perfect alliance of artisanal heritage and technical innovation.
A piece of jewelry remains precious and deserves particular attention. To preserve its beauty and extend its life, it is essential to handle it with care and avoid sudden movements.
How do I care for malachite?
Why can malachite stones become matte over time?
Malachite is a natural stone prized for its intense green color and beautiful veining. However, due to its chemical composition, it is particularly sensitive to wear and external aggressions. Malachite is a relatively soft and porous stone, which makes it vulnerable to humidity, chemicals and regular friction.
Over time, these factors can alter the surface of malachite, causing it to lose its natural shine and become more matte. To preserve the brilliance of this stone, avoid exposing it to water, perfumes and household products. Store your malachite jewelry in a dry place and avoid frequent contact with other hard surfaces.
