OUR STORY
An inherited eye
I grew up on Place Vendôme, at the heart of fine jewelry, thanks to my father Michel Ermelin, founder of the houses Poiray and Verney. As a child, my fascination was for strands of briolettes: stones cut into teardrops, already drilled, sold by the strand. A raw beauty, free of metal, that has never left me.
The California catalyst
It was during my five years in the United States that this project came to life. California gave me what I could not find in Paris: an immense freedom to think and to build. Carried by American energy and the wild beauty of its wide open spaces, I dared to set my creativity free and create the jewel I had always dreamed of.
The hand and the material
My legitimacy lies not in the stone deemed perfect by industry standards, but in choosing stones with character. I am drawn to their natural formations, their nuances, those little inclusions I refuse to call flaws. I have them cut, polished and shaped to my inspiration. A tribute to the stone, revealing its true worth.
The poetry of the cord
To set them, I chose the cord. Supple, it disappears to let the stones float with the body. Our signature setting, three small knots between each gem, creates a rhythm. Each trio seals an intention: one for the past we honor, one for the present we inhabit, one for the future we hope for.
An everyday talisman that becomes part of you.
